Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: April 1, 2026

You will receive a 100% full refund (Ticket Price + Platform Fee) if:

  • Inventory Slip: An award seat becomes unavailable in the 1-hour window between your payment and our booking attempt.
  • Unsuccessful Match: Our scouts are unable to fulfill your request at the price or specifications previously quoted.
  • System Error: A technical failure prevents the transmission of your booking request.

We take full responsibility for the accuracy of your booking. If a Seller makes an error (e.g., misspelled passenger name or incorrect date):

  • Fix Guarantee: We will first attempt to rectify the error with the airline at no cost to you.
  • Full Refund: If the error cannot be corrected, Tournism will fund a replacement ticket or issue a full 100% refund.

Please note that award tickets are generally non-refundable at the airline source. Our policy reflects this:

  • Pre-Confirmation: You may cancel your request at any time before the Seller begins the booking process for a full refund (minus a small 3% payment processing fee).
  • Post-Confirmation (Ticket Issued): * Ticket Price: This is strictly non-refundable as these funds have been utilized for the airline’s award inventory.
  • Platform Fee: As a gesture of goodwill, Tournism will refund our Platform Fee to your original payment method.
  • No-Shows: Failure to check in for a confirmed flight results in the total forfeiture of all funds.

Because airline loyalty inventory changes in seconds, all manual quotes sent via email or WhatsApp are valid for 30 minutes only. Payments made after the 30-minute window may require a “Re-Scout,” which could result in a price change or a refund if the seat is gone.

  • Mode: All refunds are processed back to the original payment method (Source Refund) to prevent fraud.
  • Timeline: We initiate refunds within 24 hours of approval. While the funds leave our system immediately, it typically takes 5 to 7 working days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank’s procedures.
